The Chappaqua Wine & Spirit Company, located in downtown Chappaqua, NY, has been serving the community with fine wines and spirits since 1996.

Kirk Sprenger, proprietor, has over 35 years of experience in the wine field.   His personal interest in fine wines directed him to the retail world in 1990 when he began his training. His apprenticeship at a fine wine shop in Pound Ridge, NY. lasted seven years.  When the business was sold, he took a position as General Manager and Wine Buyer at a major wine shop in Mamaroneck, NY and for the next seven years, further honed his skills and knowledge.  He  left Mamaroneck to merge his experience with a  partner to build the Chappaqua Wine & Spirit Co. Kirk took full reins of the business in 2002.

As a wine merchant for many years, he has a keen eye for the hidden gems that his clients have come to rely on. With the ever increasing flow of blockbuster wines entering the market. Kirk says ". . . our goal has been to seek these out for the sheer enjoyment and experience for our clients. Many of the wines in our selection are from boutique wineries that limit their production to small quantities which helps maintain a very high level of quality".
