FALL WINE CLASS SCHEDULE
Tuesday, October 28: South Africa — 7:45 p.m.
South Africa has a checkered wine history, with vineyards established in the 1650s ultimately giving way to viticultural isolation for much of the 20th century. This class looks at the industry today, a robust player on the world stae. Class will be led by Ross Toombs of Meridian Prime Importers. Cost: $50
Tuesday, November 18: The Southern Rhone — 7:45 p.m.
This class looks at one of France's best and most under-appreciated wine regions. With thirteen grapes allowed in the blends, these wines are imbued with a devil-may-care quality that belies their depth and finesse. Come learn about these wines from Cotes du Rhone to Chateauneuf-du-Pape. Cost: $50
Tuesday, December 2: Veneto — 7:45 p.m.
Italy's Veneto regin is home to some of the most distinctive and unique wines in the world. This class explores six of them, from the renowned white Soave wine to the robust red Amarone and much in between! Cost: $50
